
Associate Software Engineer

- Write and optimize SQL scripts for data transformation and processing within Aera.
- Validate and reconcile data outputs across Aera models.
- Develop and configure Aera Skills and Decision Intelligence use cases.
- Build and maintain data crawlers that extract and ingest data from enterprise source systems.
- Develop analytics models, dashboards, and reports aligned with use-case objectives.
- Create and manage ETL workflows and automated processes within Aera.
- Test, troubleshoot, and iteratively improve Aera application components, including automated smoke testing.
- Develop AI/ML models and components under senior engineering guidance.
- Implement RAG pipelines, vector-embedding solutions, and agentic AI workflows.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation on structured and unstructured data.
- Write tested code, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Approximately 0–2 years of software or data engineering experience with exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, or Decision Intelligence platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python; JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data validation or reconciliation practices.
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Hands-on exposure to LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or Generative AI frameworks through projects, internships, or professional work.
- Familiarity with AWS and containerization concepts such as Docker.
- Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to Aera or other Decision Intelligence platforms, data crawlers, decision flows, or process automation is preferred.
- Academic or project experience with RAG, vector databases, or agentic AI frameworks is preferred.
- Exposure to the life sciences or pharmaceutical domain and experience working with globally dispersed teams are preferred.
