Base Salary
$128k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own implementation of a significant developer platform capability or set of capabilities.
- Design and develop capabilities using cloud-native open-source components and AI.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other engineering contributors.
- Drive execution through high-quality implementation and production best practices, including monitoring, frequent releases, and reliable CI.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure production products and services.
- Experience with Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure, and tools such as GitHub Actions, VSCode, Kubernetes, or Backstage.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design, with analytical and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, LLMs, centralized developer platforms, microservices, software delivery platforms, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and release management.
Benefits
- US base salary range of $128,000–$192,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Full-time position with compensation determined by location, skills, experience, and education or training.
