Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded C/C++ software for multi-core processors and FPGA-integrated systems used in satellite avionics and payload data processing.
- Develop real-time system monitoring and power-management software and prepare Linux board support packages for customer flight applications.
- Configure Linux platforms, including kernel and bootloader modifications, for mission-specific flight applications.
- Implement networking and cryptographic functionality and interface with embedded buses, radios, sensors, and communications-security equipment.
- Translate customer and system-level requirements into software designs, documentation, integration, validation, and testing activities.
- Collaborate with hardware and FPGA engineers, support system integration, debug software and hardware issues, and present technical updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Track features, bugs, and build processes using version control and release-management tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing embedded software in C/C++ for Linux and/or RTOS-based systems.
- Deep knowledge of embedded platforms, multi-core processors, and interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, and PCIe.
- Experience configuring U-Boot and GRUB bootloaders and customizing Linux kernels.
- Proficiency with IP, TLS, and IPsec networking protocols and AES, RSA, ECDSA, and ECDH cryptographic systems.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, version control, task tracking, and modern software development workflows.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with OpenCL, CUDA, or other parallel-processing frameworks is preferred.
- Aerospace or defense experience and knowledge of COMSEC requirements are highly desirable.
- Active U.S. security clearance is required, and applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer and able to obtain a security clearance.
