Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality C/C++ code for Ring devices.
- Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviors for embedded subsystems.
- Collaborate with applied science, software, and electronics engineering teams.
- Implement control algorithms for autonomous systems.
- Develop foundational software layers for high-performance embedded robotics systems and optimize compute performance on device hardware.
Requirements
- Have professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Have experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.
- Have experience with embedded development in C/C++.
- Have knowledge of ARM CPUs.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience in computer architecture or writing low-level drivers.
