Base Salary
$85k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable distributed systems, APIs, services, and platform capabilities.
- Implement, test, and maintain software features and services for specialized cloud environments.
- Develop automated tests, monitoring, telemetry, and operational tooling.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using data and telemetry to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Apply security, privacy, and compliance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in monitoring, incident response, and service readiness activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, security engineers, infrastructure teams, and software engineers.
- Review requirements, designs, and code while contributing to continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance and ability to pass required Microsoft, customer, and government screenings.
- U.S. citizenship with verification required for applicable government customer restrictions.
- Preferred: Master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience building cloud-native applications on Azure or another major cloud platform.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, or large-scale backend services.
- Preferred: experience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD practices, telemetry, monitoring, logging, or observability solutions.
- Preferred: experience developing for regulated, security-sensitive, or highly available environments.
- Preferred: experience using AI-assisted development tools or building AI-enabled applications.
