Base Salary
$92k - $154k/yr
Responsibilities
- Install equipment within retailer facilities and testing labs.
- Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions for integration systems.
- Perform quality assurance checks on NCR equipment before and after deployment.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Deploy NCR software according to project scope.
- Manage deployment tasks, project documentation, and required process updates.
- Suggest solutions for recurring deployment and technology service issues.
- Communicate with clients, maintain client satisfaction and safety, and meet deployment deadlines.
Requirements
- US citizenship and ability to pass a Public Trust background check are required.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBScript, or software development experience with C# .NET.
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM and IBM BigFix.
- Expertise in Windows deployment, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Windows imaging technologies such as WinPE and WIM imaging.
- Understanding of HTTPS, DHCP, DNS, SFTP, HTML, XML, JSON, and IP communications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, communication, and independent-work skills.
- Preferred qualifications include application development, mass deployment, SQL Server/MySQL/SQL Express administration, capacity planning, system monitoring, security hardening including DoD STIG, retail industry experience, and automation programming with VBScript, JavaScript, or Python.
