Responsibilities
- Contribute high-quality code directly to the Palantir Gotham defense product.
- Support the full product lifecycle from idea generation, design, and prototyping through execution and shipping.
- Build software that securely integrates and visualizes data and supports mission-critical defense operations.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, product reliability engineers, users, and other partners to solve customer problems.
- Learn and develop under the guidance of a dedicated mentor.
Requirements
- Have an engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Be familiar with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Have experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Hold an active US security clearance or be eligible and willing to obtain one before the internship begins.
- Be planning to graduate in 2028, with this internship serving as the final internship before graduation.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
- Be willing to learn, make decisions independently, and ask questions when needed.
