Responsibilities
- Own the Onboarding & KYC platform end-to-end.
- Architect the next generation platform with a geo-specific architecture.
- Set the technical vision and standards for the onboarding domain.
- Drive reliability and zero-downtime evolution of identity flows.
- Improve customer experience by reducing onboarding friction.
- Innovate with future-forward directions like AI-driven onboarding.
- Provide cultural and technical leadership by mentoring staff engineers.
- Influence cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, and Legal teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of backend engineering experience with technical leadership.
- Strong system design and coding ability for high-availability services.
- Proven experience migrating legacy systems with minimal downtime.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and operational rigor.
- Strong communication skills to drive alignment across stakeholders.
- Comfort leading large, ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers with actionable feedback.
