Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and improve embedded and remote applications for control, data collection, and reporting.
- Develop production-quality C++ and C# software for embedded Linux, microprocessors, microcontrollers, real-time systems, and PC UI applications.
- Use Git version control on Azure DevOps to collaborate with team members.
- Test connected products, debug issues, and report defects.
- Implement communication protocols, peripheral interfaces, control algorithms, connected-device security, and OTA firmware/software updates.
Requirements
- Extensive object-oriented programming experience in C++.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Preferred 3+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise writing and testing data handling, I/O tracking, and control applications on Linux.
- Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, multithreaded real-time embedded C++ and C# software, and Qt UI development using QML.
- Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, DMA, ADC, DAC, Wi-Fi, BLE, analog and digital signal processing, and I/O interfaces.
- Hands-on experience implementing control algorithms on physical systems.
- Strong time management, organization, communication, prioritization, and ability to interact with internal and external customers.
