Responsibilities
- Design, test, build, and maintain backend functionality for charging-station location data products.
- Transition foundational backend services from PHP to Go.
- Improve internal tools and data-validation workflows.
- Enhance system performance, scalability, security, and data integrity.
- Identify product and architecture improvements and contribute to priorities with the product manager.
- Jointly manage the technical roadmap and own the quality of delivered work.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Go or PHP/Laravel development experience.
- Strong technical capability with Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with testing and a focus on maintainable, readable code.
- PHP experience is preferred, and familiarity with GitLab CI is a plus.
