Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain production-quality detections and automations.
- Develop and improve tooling for global SIRT/SOC operations.
- Act as the primary Incident Commander for the European time zone.
- Shape the technical direction of detection and response engineering.
- Lead responses to serious security incidents and threats.
- Conduct forensic investigations and proactively hunt for threats.
- Collaborate with various teams and external partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, Infosec, IT, Infra/SRE, or Incident Response.
- 7+ years of specialization in Detection or Response with a focus on building security tooling.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing production-quality code and building automations.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead during incidents.
- Extensive experience as an incident commander.
- Expertise in investigating threats in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of security tooling and incident response frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
