Base Salary
$195k - $408k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, highly available, high-performance real-time applications.
- Build and own platform features in collaboration with product and other engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Promote engineering best practices across development, QA, and infrastructure/operations functions.
- Advocate for platform innovation and reuse.
- Deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale and low-latency distributed systems.
- Strong command of Java or C++.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, object-oriented programming, multithreading, and real-time programming.
- A B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with distributed caching, SQL/NoSQL, databases, big data, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Advertising-domain experience is preferred.
- AI literacy or curiosity, including prior use or exploration of generative AI.
- Strong communication, accountability, ownership, critical thinking, collaboration, and practical decision-making skills.

- Estimated annual base salary range of $195,000–$408,000 for California positions.
