Base Salary

$114k - $213k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug software applications.
  • Research, identify, and implement solutions to complex multidisciplinary software problems.
  • Set technical vision for the software team in collaboration with the Chief Architect, program management, and team lead peers.
  • Provide tasking and mentorship to 2–4 software team members.
  • Perform hands-on modern C++ development, software architecture, detailed design, and CI/CD development and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Principal level requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related experience.
  • Senior Principal level requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD and 4 years of related experience.
  • Current active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance is required at application and start, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
  • C++ development, cloud computing, Linux, and confidence with at least three of Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Nexus, Artifactory, Containers, Podman, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry are required.
  • Preferred qualifications include C++ compiling and package management, Python development and package management, team-based software troubleshooting, software cyber compliance, knowledge of CVEs and ATO, full-stack engineering, object-oriented design patterns, and modern data structures.
