Responsibilities
- Design and build dedicated normalizers for EDR vendors and maintain testing rigor as vendor APIs evolve.
- Develop ETL and GraphQL product features for data processing, retrieval, and interaction between product components.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and ETL pipelines for efficient data processing and analytics.
- Define internal schemas and manage integration versioning, deprecations, fault tolerance, and health monitoring.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to present data clearly and improve the user experience.
- Work with backend engineers on cross-cutting scale and reliability initiatives.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience using modern object-oriented or functional languages such as Python, Java, Go, Scala, C++, or TypeScript.
- Deep experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations at scale.
- Hands-on familiarity with EDR platforms and how SOC teams consume EDR data.
- Experience building applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expert proficiency in SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience with relational and graph database architectures, including PostgreSQL and Neo4j.
- Preferred experience building GraphQL backends, managing production infrastructure, and building platform capabilities for internal teams.
