Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and deploy cloud-hosted applications supporting business and technical requirements.
- Modernize existing applications and drive new software development initiatives.
- Implement backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop user interfaces using JavaScript, JSP, Knockout, and jQuery.
- Design, develop, and optimize Oracle DB databases using EclipseLink JPA for persistence.
- Use Subversion (SVN), JWT, and YAML for version control, secure data handling, and configuration management.
- Write Shell and PowerShell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and functional teams, explain complex technical concepts, and participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
- Support occasional business travel and production deployment needs.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing APIs.
- At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, including JSP, Knockout, and jQuery.
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle DB and EclipseLink JPA.
- Experience with Shell and PowerShell scripting, Spring Boot, Java development, Subversion, JWT, and YAML.
- Ability to interact with functional resources and explain complex technical concepts in a business-like manner.
- Preferred: experience with Maven, Solr/Lucene, MariaDB, JUnit, Angular, Git, and GitHub Actions, plus knowledge of browser security concepts and best practices.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
