Responsibilities
- Build and evolve core backend systems that ingest, process, and reason over large volumes of security data.
- Develop extensible integrations with SIEMs, EDR/XDR platforms, identity providers, and cloud and SaaS logs.
- Create performant and reliable proof-of-value pipelines from data ingestion through actionable insights.
- Design storage, indexing, and access patterns for highly dimensional, time-oriented security data.
- Develop and evaluate AI-powered agents and automation for security investigations.
- Write production code, participate in technical design, collaborate across teams, and own projects through deployment.
Requirements
- Recently completed or currently completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with relevant programming languages such as Python or Go through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, testing, and system design.
- Demonstrated software-building experience through academic, internship, research, open-source, or personal projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, clear communication, collaboration skills, and ability to learn in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with backend services, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or machine learning is helpful but not required.
