Base Salary
$122k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software components and applications for Audible.
- Build and scale native iOS software while integrating new features and maintaining performance and device compatibility.
- Identify and resolve defects through code review, log analysis, metrics examination, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Write maintainable, scalable code and collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and launch customer-focused software.
- Improve testability, operational excellence, and documentation for owned software components.
- Handle data classification, storage, and management according to company policies.
- Participate in interviews and mentor fellow engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of software development experience.
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Preferred: experience delivering complex software systems to customers and building scalable software services.
- Preferred: knowledge of software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: strong problem-solving ability, collaborative delivery experience, data structures and algorithms knowledge, and basic security concepts.
