Base Salary

$73k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with program managers, engineers, product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Design and implement efficient, flexible, and scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.
  • Develop customer-specific solutions and internal tools using Java, C++, JavaScript, and similar languages.
  • Deploy new features and maintain system stability in collaboration with the DevOps team.
  • Write test suites, debug and refactor code, and ensure software correctness and maintainability.
  • Participate in planning, requirements development, design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field, with four additional years of experience accepted in place of the degree.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Java or C#.
  • Strong backend software engineering skills and experience delivering and maintaining software projects.
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and processes quickly.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
  • Desired experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, Hibernate, Spring, AWS, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Webpack, and continuous integration and development pipelines.
