Base Salary
$184k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement advanced algorithms for e-beam inspection applications.
- Develop registration, scoring, defect detection, and defect localization algorithms, including Image-to-CAD alignment and non-rigid registration.
- Develop algorithms for electrical defect analysis, including voltage contrast and electrical failure-mode analysis.
- Build zero-to-low-shot training capabilities and improve algorithm workflow usability, performance, and robustness.
- Move algorithm concepts from proof of concept through production-ready implementation, deployment, and end-to-end integration.
- Optimize algorithm performance for high-speed inspection applications in partnership with image-processing software engineers.
- Collaborate with system designers, software engineers, application developers, architects, and product teams on integrated solutions.
- Refine requirements and design scalable solutions for complex customer problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of algorithm R&D experience with deep expertise in image processing, computer vision, deep learning, or related disciplines.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, physics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing robust, production-grade algorithms rather than only research prototypes.
- Strong image-processing and/or computer-vision algorithm experience.
- Experience with electrical defect analysis algorithms, including voltage contrast or electrical failure-mode analysis, is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with SEM/e-beam inspection or metrology systems in semiconductor production environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage algorithms through research, validation, optimization, integration, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of software and algorithm infrastructure and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with remote and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives with accountability and ownership.
