Responsibilities
- Improve the scalability and reliability of core data systems.
- Define and evolve how to model, store, and query resource data.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to prioritize impactful work.
- Ship quickly and experiment to validate ideas and drive product velocity.
- Mentor junior team members and set an example for collaborative engineering.
- Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational posture and execution quality.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
- Be comfortable with robust distributed systems and scaling challenges.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture is preferred.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer problems.
- Work well in fast-paced environments that value decisive action.
- Have led meaningful technical projects from concept to completion.
