Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize a user-space network stack for game networking.
- Ensure real-time communication of game state across all devices.
- Address performance, latency, and throughput challenges in client/server environments.
- Collaborate with the Engine Networking Team to enhance player experiences.
- Work on a large multithreaded distributed system connecting millions of users.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in game networking from a Game Engine/Studio.
- Strong systems-level C++ programming experience.
- Deep understanding of network stacks and common network protocols.
- Experience with Linux networking.
- Familiarity with game engine mechanics and multithreaded systems.
