Responsibilities
- Lead the test and automation charter for new and existing product functionality.
- Perform feature interaction, performance and scale, system, solution, and customer deployment testing.
- Accelerate product test-cycle velocity through AI- and specification-driven development practices.
- Analyze feature internals and their integration with the operating system.
- Automate tests using FTL and integrate them into regression testing.
- Collaborate with customer support to resolve product problems in a timely manner.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of networking/security domain development and testing experience, with demonstrated leadership and domain expertise.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, access control policies, NAT, carrier-grade NAT, SD-WAN, VPN, ZTNA, network management, and IPv6.
- Expertise in L3-L7 inspection, intrusion prevention and detection, IPsec, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, DHCP, and multicast.
- Experience with virtual technologies including ESXi, KVM, AWS, Azure, and OCI.
- Hands-on experience with legitimate and malware application traffic generators, Linux, Windows, Packet Tracer, Wireshark, and tcpdump.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, and Fortinet products is preferred.
- Strong automation experience with Python or Java, including UI- and API-based test automation.
- Experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery tools.
- Expertise with AI, AI tools, and AI-based software development lifecycles.
