Responsibilities
- Develop software and test solutions supporting physical and digital test capabilities.
- Deliver test environments from subsystem integration through hardware-in-the-loop and simulation environments.
- Define Test Environment requirements and contribute to the GCAP ISANKE and ICS Test Environments roadmap.
- Deliver test and compliance solutions supporting synthetic and airborne trials.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, IT, Manufacturing, systems engineering, and international industry partners.
- Support proof-of-concept and demonstration activities in the UK and internationally, particularly in Italy and Japan.
- Deliver solutions to agreed cost, schedule, and quality targets.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering software solutions within a complex engineering environment.
- Experience with software development across the full engineering lifecycle.
- Experience developing test environments, test frameworks, or test automation solutions.
- Experience with simulation, modelling, hardware-in-the-loop, or systems integration activities.
- Experience working with systems engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Experience with requirements capture, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.
- Experience with digital engineering and hybrid physical/synthetic test environments.
- Experience with software architectures, interfaces, and data integration within complex systems.
- Experience with engineering governance, quality standards, and regulated environments.
- Ability to meet pre-employment BPSS screening requirements; additional SC or DV eligibility may apply.
