Responsibilities

  • Design, code, integrate, test, and debug slot-machine game software.
  • Understand and work with platform hardware, libraries, and operating systems.
  • Provide software implementation input on game design and scheduling.
  • Communicate technical requirements and collaborate with software quality assurance engineers on compliance and product releases.
  • Maintain and share internal systems knowledge and provide feedback on platform and tool implementations.
  • Mentor junior engineers across related studios and Game Development.
  • Create and update documentation for features, interfaces, and usage.
  • Contribute to in-house development tools and engineering support.
  • Use Claude Code and Cowork for coding, debugging, test writing, and documentation while verifying AI-generated output.
  • Evaluate and help adopt agentic coding workflows in accordance with regulatory constraints.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience on a software development team.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D graphics programming.
  • Proficiency in C# or C++ and strong object-oriented design knowledge.
  • Comfort with IDEs, compilers, debuggers, profilers, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows programming environments, Unity, and Visual Studio.
  • Practical daily experience with AI coding assistants and the judgment to identify hallucinated functions, incorrect answers, outdated patterns, and other AI failure modes.
  • Ability to use AI tools for higher-complexity work while maintaining rigorous verification and coaching others on AI-assisted development.
  • Gaming industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, collaboration, and creative-environment skills.
