Responsibilities
- Design and enhance Kubernetes provider platforms and supporting infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
- Automate Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, and observability workflows.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Observability to meet service-level objectives.
- Integrate security controls and compliance requirements into the container platform.
- Improve platform usability, application-team onboarding, and operational efficiency.
- Respond to incidents, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive continuous operational improvement.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming or scripting experience with technologies such as Git, Terraform, JavaScript, Python, or Bash.
- Understanding of Linux systems, containers, and networking fundamentals.
- At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience operating or managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring in large-scale systems.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security concepts, GitOps and deployment tools, service mesh technologies, reliability engineering practices, cloud platforms, and networking protocols is advantageous.
