Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end embedded software development from requirements analysis through architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Design and implement modular application, middleware, driver, and HAL software layers.
- Develop I/O modules, communication protocol stacks, and functional-safety mechanisms for safety-critical control units.
- Execute complex test cases, debug software, conduct coverage analysis, and identify and resolve defects.
- Own software quality, performance, integration, and reliability across the embedded software lifecycle.
- Document software architecture using arc42 and UML and maintain technical documentation through a Doc-as-Code approach.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, safety, and quality teams.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or an equivalent field.
- 6–10 years of experience.
- Strong expertise in BSW development, AUTOSAR, MCAL, and RTOS.
- Hands-on experience with multicore safety ECUs, ARM Cortex-R, IPC, synchronization, MPU, and multicore task allocation.
- Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP, TCP/IP, UDP, and TSN.
- Experience with ISO 26262 ASIL-D and MISRA C.
- Ability to perform code reviews, mentor team members, and provide technical leadership.
- Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity concepts and Hardware Security Modules is preferred.
