Responsibilities
- Own and evolve core backend systems for distributed task execution, developer sandbox orchestration, and customer knowledge ingestion and retrieval.
- Prototype features end-to-end and harden them for scale, reliability, and production use.
- Collaborate across product, infrastructure, and AI teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Ship production systems used daily by developers, including Slack-connected workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills with Python or adjacent ecosystems.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining production systems end-to-end.
- Ability to work independently and drive large technical projects.
- Familiarity with system architecture, stateful services, and distributed compute.
- Prior experience at high-performance teams such as Stripe, Palantir, or Uber.
- Bonus: experience building developer bots or integrations with Slack, Discord, or similar platforms.
- Bonus: exposure to AI/ML developer tooling such as LangChain, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
- Bonus: ability to lead cross-functional initiatives or mentor engineers.
- Bonus: familiarity with fast-paced, early-stage product iteration cycles.
