Responsibilities
- Write and review architectural plans and participate hands-on in implementation.
- Build fast, reliable, customer-focused marketplace software and solve complex technical problems within a service or domain.
- Own technical decisions and drive delivery aligned with customer expectations and business timelines.
- Perform code reviews and mentor engineers on code quality and engineering practices.
- Set technical direction, establish engineering standards, and help scale the India PDT team.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, leadership, and global engineering teams across time zones.
- Use AI tools for code generation, review, debugging, and design exploration to improve delivery speed without compromising quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
- Strong full-stack development expertise, including backend development with Python and frontend development with React and TypeScript.
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling production workloads on AWS.
- Proven ability to set technical direction, mentor engineers at multiple levels, and influence product and business decisions.
- Marketplace product experience and understanding of scaling multi-sided platforms are highly desirable.
- Hands-on proficiency with AI coding assistants, code-review copilots, or agentic development tools is required.
