Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP BW/4HANA data warehouse models for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Build LLM-powered conversational analytics and data-agent experiences using retrieval, grounding, prompts, tools, and governed semantic models.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines, transformations, extraction/loading processes, and cross-system data harmonization.
- Optimize BW on HANA and BW/4HANA performance, including Data Tiering Optimization and multi-temperature data management.
- Define offline and online evaluation loops, AI interaction observability, reliability controls, and fallback behaviors.
- Prototype, demonstrate, iterate, and harden solutions for production while creating reusable modeling and AI-native accelerators.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Hands-on SAP BW/4HANA data modeling and development experience.
- Strong enterprise data warehousing fundamentals and understanding of BW/4HANA design principles.
- Hands-on experience building LLM and RAG solutions involving retrieval, grounding, prompt/tool design, and evaluation.
- Engineering discipline focused on testability, reliability, performance, and structured delivery.
- Experience with BW on HANA modeling tools, ETL, reporting, analytics, integration with HANA, and performance optimization is strongly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Data Tiering Optimization and multi-temperature enterprise data management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with enterprise analytics training and reference materials is beneficial.
