Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement avatar features in the Roblox game engine.
- Build APIs that enable Roblox developers to create avatars within experiences.
- Improve avatar fidelity, uniqueness, customization, reliability, performance, and test coverage.
- Develop vertical applications for mobile, tablet, PC, and console platforms.
- Refactor and improve the existing codebase.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across Roblox.
- Implement systems using C++ and Lua.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience working on a consumer-facing game engine and/or game application.
- Proficiency with C++, 3D math, data structures, algorithms, and networking.
- Experience with character building and customization systems, editors, and content creation tools.
- Experience building online console or mobile game titles.
- Experience with animation, rigid-body or cloth/hair physics, shading, or other game or film character systems.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $196,750-$243,290 USD for roles based at the San Mateo, California headquarters.
- Full-time employees are eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
- Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday unless otherwise noted.
