Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own shared Azure platform services used by multiple delivery teams.
- Lead production-scale infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, including reusable modules, standards, and repeatable environments.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and golden paths using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
- Define identity, networking, security, and governance baselines.
- Set up observability covering logs, metrics, traces, and operational tooling.
- Work with Tech Leads on platform needs and trade-offs and steer the platform roadmap.
- Mentor engineers and review their designs and code.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering with recent senior-level ownership.
- Strong hands-on Azure experience, including Entra ID, identity, VNets, networking, policy, and governance.
- Mandatory production-scale Terraform experience, including writing reusable modules.
- Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Kubernetes through AKS and/or Azure container services.
- Experience with observability tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience supporting several delivery teams in parallel and making and defending platform decisions.
- Desirable experience with Bicep, AI/ML/LLM workloads on Azure, internal developer platforms or golden paths, and consulting or client-embedded delivery.
