Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of secure, high-performance bootloaders for next-generation electric vehicles.
- Define bootloader architecture and interfaces for multiple ECUs and microprocessors.
- Implement secure boot and secure software updates across complex networked vehicle architectures.
- Develop portable, scalable embedded code and provide technical guidance on security, bootloaders, and software updates.
- Perform hardware bring-up, low-level software development, system debugging, code optimization, and testing for functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- At least 3 years of experience programming in C/C++ for embedded system development.
- At least 3 years of experience working in an automotive engineering environment.
- At least 2 years of experience with automotive communication protocols including CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, and DoIP.
- At least 2 years of experience with diagnostic and network protocols including UDS, CAN, DoIP, and LIN.
- At least 2 years of experience with OTA update mechanisms, including secure firmware deployment and rollback strategies.
- At least 2 years of experience with low-level embedded software development, bootloader design, driver bring-up, and RTOS integration.
- At least 2 years of experience using Vector CANoe, NXP Design Studio, Git, and JIRA for development and validation.
- Demonstrated understanding of bootloader architectures, secure boot, and secure software updates.
