Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight for deployment of a real-time asset-tracking solution to the U.S. Navy.
- Engage Navy and DoD representatives to understand mission requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate technical delivery information to internal stakeholders and customer representatives.
- Oversee RMF and ATO compliance, including system architecture documentation, security controls, POAMs, and coordination with ISSMs and ISSOs.
- Review system implementation plans for contract, customer, and best-practice conformance.
- Mentor junior or non-technical staff and collaborate with senior leaders to achieve technical objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as a software engineer or solutions architect.
- Track record of successful delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity RMF and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to deliver rapid prototype solutions and solve problems effectively under pressure.
- Excellent written, verbal, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
- U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance, or eligibility for the required security clearance.
- Preferred: experience deploying complex technology solutions to the U.S. Army.
- Preferred: familiarity with active or passive RFID hardware, satellite-based backhaul systems such as Starlink or Iridium, secure VPNs, and LAN/WAN infrastructures.
