
Lead System Integration Engineer - Enterprise Transformation

Responsibilities
- Build reusable integration services, accelerators, and reference templates aligned with enterprise data, identity, and security standards.
- Design, build, maintain, and monitor resilient integrations and data pipelines using APIs, webhooks, scripts, connectors, middleware, and transformation logic.
- Define source-to-destination mappings, exception handling, monitoring approaches, and end-to-end workflows across enterprise systems.
- Modernize Microsoft-dependent workflows and legacy interfaces into scalable Google-aligned integration patterns.
- Design and support Microsoft, Google, and internal-platform coexistence models during phased migration waves, including permissions validation, metadata mapping, cutover sequencing, and stabilization.
- Partner with transformation Product Leads and Technical Program Managers to integrate Google capabilities into business processes.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, validation, hypercare, and engineering best practices.
- Create technical designs, dependency maps, operational runbooks, and handover materials for long-term sustainment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering, software engineering, platform architecture, or enterprise application integration in complex enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong production-level proficiency in Python and scripting or automation frameworks.
- Extensive experience building and supporting enterprise integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware solutions, ETL, and data transformation logic.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based integration patterns, modern application architecture, Git-based version control, and multi-system integration debugging.
- Experience designing secure and supportable integrations across SaaS platforms and internal enterprise systems.
- Foundational knowledge of enterprise authentication, authorization, identity integration, and access-control frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineering teams, technical program managers, security leads, and business stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs, architecture risks, and engineering decisions.
- Preferred: experience with Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migration or coexistence programs, Google Workspace administration and APIs, Google Apps Script, AppSheet, Gemini Enterprise, Glean, AskGM, Databricks, data retention and privacy frameworks, automated testing, cutover planning, data validation, hypercare, and sustainment models.
