Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies based on business requirements and solution designs.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Validate solutions in laboratory environments using physical equipment to simulate real-world operating conditions.
- Manage test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using Zephyr Scale and Azure DevOps.
- Investigate issues with developers and cross-functional teams and promote quality best practices.
- Participate in Agile development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor team members and contribute to domain expertise in power systems and quality engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of software quality assurance experience, including hands-on test automation using Python.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, Agile development practices, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and continuous-learning skills.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, performance testing, or security testing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, WAMS/WAMPAC, PMU data, system integration, or communication protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, OPC, or IEEE C37.118 is advantageous.
