Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s security strategy across infrastructure, data, and AI systems.
- Establish governance models for safely deploying AI agents and prepare the organization for SOC 2, ISO, and potentially FedRAMP compliance.
- Build production guardrails, monitoring, auditing, anomaly detection, and policy enforcement into autonomous AI agent systems.
- Identify, prototype, and potentially commercialize security products in partnership with product and engineering teams.
- Lead incident response, threat modeling, red team exercises, and adversarial testing for AI systems.
- Represent Human Agency in client conversations, partner discussions, industry forums, publications, and speaking engagements.
- Deploy and operate zero-trust security architectures, secure multi-agent systems, monitoring and detection infrastructure, and secure data pipelines.
- Write code, configure systems, and debug production environments hands-on when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience as a CISO, VP of Security, or Head of Security at a high-growth technology company, ideally one building or deploying AI systems at scale.
- Deep hands-on experience securing AI and machine learning systems, including LLM architectures, model training pipelines, and inference infrastructure.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native security programs across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Expertise in zero-trust frameworks, identity and access management, secure multi-tenant architectures, threat modeling, and red teaming.
- Experience leading adversarial exercises involving complex systems and ideally AI-specific risks such as prompt injection, model inversion, or data poisoning.
- Experience designing and implementing security monitoring, incident response, and scalable compliance programs.
- A track record of building or contributing to security products, shipped customer-facing tools, or infrastructure used by others.
- Founder-oriented, product-minded, commercially aware, technically credible, pragmatic, communicative, and committed to responsible security practices.
