Base Salary
$240k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact technical problems across Travel & Expense and drive them to resolution.
- Set and raise the technical bar through design reviews and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with Staff Engineers and EMs to align on direction and unblock execution.
- Mentor senior engineers and improve team design and shipping processes.
- Bring an AI-forward mindset to the organization's operations.
- Contribute to the group's technical strategy and inform leadership investments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership.
- Ability to identify and resolve ambiguous, cross-cutting problems.
- Deep experience in designing and operating large-scale backend systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and a history of raising engineering standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
