Responsibilities
- Design and build generative AI applications for complex financial and legal workflows.
- Lead end-to-end model development and delivery, including experimentation, training, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
- Apply techniques in information retrieval, embedding models, reranking, entity and relationship extraction, knowledge graphs, recommendation systems, tabular ML, and predictive modeling.
- Translate complex business problems into well-scoped AI initiatives and evaluate their impact on end users.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor teammates, share ideas, and promote AI adoption across 9fin.
- Research and apply advanced AI techniques while iterating on improvements.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python for production-ready delivery.
- Deep expertise in at least one area such as information retrieval, entity and relationship extraction or resolution, knowledge graphs, recommendation and ranking systems, tabular ML, or statistical and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with embedding models, rerankers, GraphRAG, learning-to-rank, feed ranking, user modeling, GBDTs, supervised ML, anomaly detection, and temporal modeling is relevant to the role.
- Deep understanding of the generative AI landscape and agentic frameworks.
- Experience across the full model lifecycle, including experimentation, training, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
- Strong product focus and interest in understanding the end-to-end impact of AI solutions for users.
- Good knowledge of AWS AI infrastructure.
