Base Salary

$93k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and operate core services and APIs for a modern application deployment platform on OCI.
  • Deliver resilient and scalable deployment workflows across diverse environments and service architectures.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, security engineers, SREs, and developer teams on technical designs and platform needs.
  • Implement isolation, policy enforcement, auditability, observability, rollback, recovery, and failure-handling capabilities.
  • Develop platform primitives for AI- and agent-assisted engineering workflows with least-privilege access and human oversight.
  • Use operational signals and customer feedback to improve developer experience, performance, availability, and deployment success rates.
  • Contribute through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, mentoring, and technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
  • Strong programming ability in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures for scalability, availability, security, and operability.
  • Understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering concepts.
  • Demonstrated ownership from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Preferred experience includes application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, developer platform engineering, distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, workflow orchestration, SRE, incident response, observability, capacity and performance engineering, security engineering, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, compliance automation, or AI-assisted developer tools.
