Base Salary
$115k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Ksplice tools for live Linux kernel patching.
- Support new Linux releases and expand the portions of the system that Ksplice can patch.
- Improve engineering workflows and tooling.
- Analyze security vulnerabilities in Linux kernel patches.
- Use software development best practices, including TDD.
- Perform test automation, debugging, and complex systems problem solving.
Requirements
- Expert-level C/C programming skills.
- Strong experience with Python.
- Experience developing the Linux/UNIX kernel.
- Understanding of security issues and defenses in compiled languages.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with test automation and software development best practices.
