Base Salary
$405k - $485k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal review tools, including dashboards, case queues, and evidence viewers, for analysts investigating abuse.
- Build interfaces for human supervision of agents, including streaming output, interruption and approval flows, and action provenance.
- Create visualizations and exploration tools that surface abuse patterns for research teams.
- Own frontend architecture for sensitive data systems operating at scale, including performance, real-time correctness, and end-to-end access controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern React, with comfort using Python for backend work.
- Ability to work across the full software stack.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong candidates may have 8+ years of software engineering experience, excluding internships and co-ops.
- Experience with data-dense internal tools, operator interfaces, integrity, spam, fraud or abuse detection, trust and safety mechanisms, AI/ML intervention, prompt engineering, jailbreak attacks, adversarial inputs, or operational tooling is valued.

- Annual compensation is listed as $405,000–$485,000 USD.
- Hybrid policy currently expects staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
