Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases of large-scale cloud applications.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration using Helm charts and ArgoCD for GitOps deployments.
- Build automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using GitHub Actions and scripting.
- Ensure application and infrastructure environments follow Workday standards, guardrails, and consistency requirements.
- Monitor system health and performance, resolve issues proactively, and participate in an on-call rotation for production incidents.
- Partner with development teams to support infrastructure needs, improve developer experience, and remove delivery-pipeline friction.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, and practices that improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of related work experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining Kubernetes environments for scalable, cloud-native production applications.
- Demonstrated experience using AWS infrastructure services to build and operate production workloads.
- Proficiency with ArgoCD and GitOps practices for continuous delivery and auditable deployments.
- Experience developing and managing Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment.
- Experience using GitHub Actions to automate testing, builds, and deployments.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations and conduct thoughtful incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Strong judgment in deciding when and how to automate while balancing speed, reliability, and maintainability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across distributed teams and time zones.
- Excellence in English and Vietnamese communication, teamwork, and independent work.
