Responsibilities
- Design and implement reusable infrastructure patterns, golden paths, and self-service capabilities for application teams.
- Build Backstage Software Catalog, templates, scaffolding, and platform integrations.
- Create self-service capabilities for provisioning and managing cloud resources through standardized platform patterns.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules, blueprints, and governed platform components.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and operational processes.
- Establish standardized platform patterns and reference architectures for the Internal Developer Platform.
- Work with platform and infrastructure teams to convert common infrastructure requirements into scalable, automated self-service offerings.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise with Backstage, including Software Catalog, templates, scaffolding, and platform integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, Azure, and Kubernetes for infrastructure development and automation.
- Experience building Internal Developer Platform capabilities focused on infrastructure self-service and engineering enablement.
- Experience developing reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules, blueprints, and platform components with governance and guardrails.
- Hands-on infrastructure or platform engineering experience focused on standardized, governed, and easy-to-consume self-service offerings.
