Base Salary
$210k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead vehicle-generalization benchmark evaluation and develop metrics tooling for cross-platform and vehicle-to-vehicle variability.
- Perform hands-on analysis of vehicle-platform differences while developing broader generalization metrics strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with OEM support engineering, measurement, controls, and application engineering teams.
- Provide on-the-ground technical support for autonomous-driving customer programs, including Nissan and Stellantis.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed for customer and vehicle support.
Requirements
- Experience with data-driven development, including defining metrics, building tooling, and performing data analysis.
- Strong practical background in control system design, state estimation, odometry, localization, and sensor fusion.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Strong robotics systems thinking and ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues in dynamic environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally and be based in Sunnyvale, California.
- Familiarity with mapping and navigation data and advanced odometry techniques is desirable.
- Experience with advanced control techniques influenced by or performed by neural networks is desirable.
- Strong cross-functional communication and teamwork skills.
