Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate on complex, high-impact projects from proposal through post-mortem.
- Design privacy-preserving systems for search indexes and AI features.
- Build features on the Tracker Radar crawler to detect emerging privacy threats.
- Implement and maintain web-tracking and email-protection features.
- Own the maintenance and continuous improvement of major privacy technology components.
- Participate in privacy reviews and audits.
- Mentor other engineers over time and support the growth of the Privacy Team.
Requirements
- Experience developing privacy solutions in an engineering capacity, such as tracker blockers or differential privacy systems.
- Deep technical understanding of online privacy threats and existing privacy-protection solutions.
- Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Perl.
- Ability to resolve ambiguous problems, propose innovative solutions, and execute effectively.
- Ability to lead and collaborate on complex projects involving relevant stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
