Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the lifecycle and software configuration of HIL systems and ground support equipment across the vehicle fleet.
- Develop automated systems to track hardware deployments and dynamically generate standardized software configurations.
- Partner with hardware teams to design, build, and integrate GSE racks and checkout carts for testing and launch operations.
- Write software that interfaces with ground infrastructure, including networks, ground computers, DAQs, and power supplies.
- Perform hands-on checkouts and troubleshoot anomalies across software, electromechanical systems, and physical hardware.
- Support hardware teams and help the Vehicle Software team prioritize feature requests.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience in software development, hardware integration, or systems engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with software-based configuration management and modern software operations.
- Hands-on experience with physical hardware integration, test equipment, and rack setup.
- Experience managing and tracking hardware deployments across multiple test and operational environments.
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, and managed-switch configuration.
- Ability to write systems software, particularly in Rust, within a Linux environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical anomalies from the software layer through the physical hardware.
- Preferred experience with autonomous systems, technical project management, cross-functional engineering initiatives, HIL test environments, avionics checkouts, hardware communication protocols, PLCs, DAQ systems, and technical or electrical documentation.
- Must meet applicable U.S. export-control authorization requirements for access to restricted space technology and technical data.
