Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with customers and recommend secure, cost-effective, performant, reliable, and operationally efficient architectures.
- Help public sector customers understand cloud technology and application architectures and deliver successful outcomes.
- Implement or document cloud-native reference architectures with the AWS Solutions Architect community.
- Create and share recommended practices, white papers, code samples, blog posts, and other technical content.
- Educate and evangelize AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
- Represent customer needs internally to drive improvements to the AWS platform and inform the AWS service roadmap.
- Help hire, coach, and mentor other team members.
Requirements
- Experience in a relevant technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- Experience in IT development or implementation and consulting within the software or Internet industries.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders or clients.
- Already hold or be willing to undergo UK government security clearance and meet residency requirements.
- Preferred: experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Preferred: experience with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.
- Preferred: experience in technology or software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
- Preferred: cloud technology certification such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering.
