Base Salary
$94k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs and industry trends into technical requirements for ArcGIS Enterprise releases.
- Design and evolve observability pipelines covering metrics, logs, traces, and events.
- Contribute to AI-driven root cause analysis and data-driven sizing and capacity guidance.
- Collaborate with product and development engineers to build ArcGIS Enterprise software releases.
- Create help topics, blog articles, presentations, tutorials, and samples.
- Troubleshoot and triage customer issues.
- Review automated test results, report software quality and stability, and certify software quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Knowledge of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation.
- Experience with Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
- Ability to translate observability customer needs into technical requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with capacity planning, performance engineering, chaos engineering, large-scale distributed systems, Kubernetes resource management, and AWS or Azure.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts applied to operational data.
- A master’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
