Base Salary
$144k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive development, testing, documentation, and production deployment of high-quality scalable software.
- Lead end-to-end technical execution of complex features and systems from ideation and architecture through deployment and refinement.
- Define engineering principles, guidelines, best practices, and technical direction for the mobile organization.
- Partner with product, design, and other stakeholders on high-impact technical decisions aligned with business goals and scalability.
- Lead incident resolution through the on-call rotation and diagnose and remediate critical software issues.
- Conduct code reviews, improve software quality and testability, and enhance operational metrics and documentation.
- Mentor and coach engineers at all levels while fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
- Remove project roadblocks and guide team planning, design discussions, and technical problem-solving.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building highly scalable Android applications with MVI Architecture.
- Expert-level Kotlin proficiency and the ability to establish best practices and mentor other engineers.
- Deep Android platform expertise and knowledge of platform best practices, trends, and end-user considerations.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and Direct Injection or ServiceLocator patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Expertise in Agile software delivery and SCRUM methodology, including driving process improvements across teams.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across diverse teams in large enterprise environments.
- Preferred qualifications include Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, Material Design or Material 3, client API design, client backend experience, Go, Swift, and Java.
