GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Develop and integrate 2D and 3D machine vision solutions for robotics and industrial automation.
- Develop algorithms for part localization, robot guidance, inspection, measurement, and defect detection.
- Select and integrate cameras, lenses, lighting systems, optics, and 3D vision systems.
- Perform testing, calibration, validation, and optimization of vision systems.
- Participate in software, vision-system, and customer-site integration and commissioning.
- Develop software applications, tools, and user interfaces primarily with C#/.NET.
- Contribute to software architecture, libraries, and internal tools.
- Design and integrate project databases and interfaces for data exchange with automation equipment, robots, ERP systems, and customer systems.
- Collaborate with robotics, automation, and software development teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, ideally with C#/.NET.
- Interest in machine vision, image processing, and industrial vision technologies.
- Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code and understand software design and architecture principles.
- Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
- Ability to work on problems combining software, vision, robotics, and industrial equipment.
- Experience with industrial machine vision, 2D or 3D vision systems, or HALCON is an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, optics, image processing, robotics, automation, SQL, databases, ERP integration, and industrial communications is an asset.
- Experience with WPF, ASP.NET, or other .NET technologies is an asset.
- Curiosity, teamwork, autonomy, initiative, organization, and attention to quality.
